Overview
The Dashboard is your central hub for Single Touch Payroll. It gives you a quick snapshot of your current setup and highlights what needs attention.
Stat Cards
At the top of the dashboard you'll see summary cards showing:
- Employers — how many employer entities you've set up
- Employees — total employees across all employers
- Pay Events — total pay events created
- Submissions — pay events successfully submitted to the ATO
Click any card to jump directly to that section.
Getting Started Checklist
If you're new to Beeswax STP, the getting started checklist walks you through the essential setup steps:
- Add an Employer — Set up your first employer with ABN, registered address, and ATO details
- Add Employees — Add employees with their tax file numbers, pay rates, and superannuation details
- Create a Pay Event — Build your first pay event with employee pay items
- Submit to ATO — Lodge your first STP submission
Each step shows a green Done badge once completed, so you can track your progress.
Next Steps
Once your first submission is accepted by the ATO, you'll want to:
- Review the YTD Summary to confirm year-to-date totals are accurate
- Set up API Tokens if you plan to integrate Beeswax STP with your payroll software
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication in Settings for OSF compliance
